FAQs

Paediatric occupational therapy (OT) is a type of therapy that helps children develop the skills they need to grow, learn, play, and thrive in their daily lives. It focuses on supporting a child’s ability to do the things that “occupy” their day—whether at home, in school, or in the community.

No. We are an individual paid service. You would need to pay us upfront and then claw back funds yourself from your insurance provider or anyone else you need to.

Sensory Integration Therapy (SI) can be incredibly beneficial for children who have difficulties processing sensory information—whether it’s touch, sound, movement, or body awareness. This type of therapy is especially helpful for children with conditions like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), and some developmental delays.

Yes! Occupational Therapy and Sensory Integration are definitely not only for children with neurological conditions. OT supports children with things like low muscle tone, hypermobility issues, motor skill issues, shoulder instability, etc. OT is for every child.
