Schools OT

In-School Occupational Therapy Support

Delivering in-school OT

We support a number of schools with their Occupational Therapy needs. This can be done solely for children with OT provision in their EHCP’s and it can also be done to include children without EHCP’s, but where the school believes OT could be beneficial.
The average classroom has 26.6 pupils and on average there is 1 child per class with an EHCP. However, the actual number of children per class who have neurological conditions which affects their academic performance, and where OT could be beneficial, is 3.5 children per class. This leads to massive classroom strain, increased teacher stress and lowered overall academic performance for all students and schools; potentially impacting Ofsted ratings.
